HRDA has developed the trainers competency model (TCM) to
identify and assess core training competencies. TCM is based on a defined set
of competencies derived from well researched international standards,
The trainer’s certification process requires that applicants
have to pass two assessments:

Knowledge assessment- a written examination to assess the theoretical knowledge
of the learning process (blocks 1-7 and block 9), and
-
Skills assessment- using an assessment instrument to measure the trainer
performance (block 8).
